The cost of living situation that the UK is facing at the moment, is affecting a lot of us. However, there may be some good news in the coming months. Many analysts and forecasts suggest that by July energy bills will not be as high as they expected them to be.
At the moment the government has placed a cap on electricity and gas bills for an average home at £2,500, as well as an additional £400 discount.
In April the government will provide less support and the cap will rise to £3,000.
However, forecasts are predicting that by July the average bill will drop to £2,153 and that it will remain that price for the rest of the year.
Even though it is positive that household bills will not reach the height they were expected to, they will still be high enough that many will still struggle.
